JAMIE AGNELLO
Jamie Agnello, "who is a human, not a puppet (The New York Times)," is a curious and creative human who lives in Pittsburgh, PA. She's a proud member of Actors Equity Association and is signed with Docherty Agency.

Recent credits include Molly Richter/Stage Manager in 10 Out of 12 (Quantum Theatre), Mother in A Christmas Story: The Play (2022-2025 at the Pittsburgh Public Theater), Gayle/Arthur/Trader in Enron (Quantum Theatre), Genevieve in Plano (Quantum Theatre), Trinculo in The Tempest (Pittsburgh Public Theater), Mary Shelley in Midnight Radio: Frankenstein (Bricolage Production Company) and lots of screen time with Pittsburgh Public Theater’s PLAYTIME streaming series in 2020-2021 (Lysistrata, The Rivals, Much Ado About Nothing, The Inseparables). Jamie has also appeared at Lincoln Center Education (Up and Away, The Big Umbrella Festival), St. Ann’s Warehouse, LaMaMa, Dixon Place, University Settlement, and the Park Avenue Armory. She has traveled to the NYC, Atlanta, and Cincinnati Fringe Festivals with Woody vs. Mia vs. Gwyneth vs. Coldplay (a tragedy game show about breakups).

Bonus points if you can spot her in her best cult-y orange cashmere in the Netflix series
Archive 81, Heather the realtor in Carousel (starring Jenny Slate & Chris Pine, directed by Rachel Lambert), or Mitzi, the office firecracker, in The Human, Will (featuring Joe Pera, directed by Edward Bursch).

She's currently working as a puppeteer on the YouTube series Cai & Kate, an initiative from Allegheny Health Network's The Chill Project. The YouTube series features a human host and her chameleon pal Cai as they teach preschoolers how to identify and regulate their emotions. Episodes will drop once a month! Share & subscribe with your fav kiddos...or legit just try some bubble breathing for yourself.

If you're a tinned fish fan, be sure to keep your eye out for Jamie appearing as Sardine. It's drag, it's camp, it's lip syncing with a melancholy twist. Follow their journey down the river @sardineoftheallegheny

Jamie is proud of being a master at pivoting and learning new things! Over the years, she's worked as a standardized client and patient, server in the restaurant industry, as a floral designer, the director of an arts-based summer camp, a graduate hall director, a cupcake baker, a realtor, a travel blogger and industry professional, a college radio DJ, and as a puppeteer and teaching artist.

Her breadth of experiences makes her an expert team player, wearer-of-many hats, and down to tackle challenges with enthusiasm and creativity.

As a natural performer, she approaches the world with an open heart and mind.
